Sina Zere

sina_picSina Zere is interning as a research assistant within the Strategy Team to coordinate the activities of a biotechnology company focused on the development of paper-based diagnostics and the MRC, as well as providing assistance to related projects within PLEP. Sina graduated from McMaster University in 2007 with an Honours B.Sc. in Biology- Genetics Co-op Specialization. She is currently doing her Masters of Biotechnology at the University of Toronto. Sina has worked for a Ministry of Health & Long-Term Care- funded home health care agency for the past four years. Her past research includes characterizing the DNA-binding properties of a novel protein, and performing stem cell purifications from human umbilical cord blood and analyzing cell fractions.
