Dominique McMahon

dm_picDominique McMahon is a Doctoral student at the Institute of Medical Sciences, University of Toronto. Under the supervision of Dr. Halla Thorsteinsdóttir and Dr. Abdallah Daar, she is conducting a comparative analysis of regenerative medicine innovation in China, Brazil and India. Dominique started as a research assistant for the program, creating an annotated database of literature related to the toxicity of quantum dots. She graduated from University of Ottawa with a BSc in Biotechnology and four years of research in ecological toxicology. Dominique’s interest in sustainability and global equity was reinforced by a six month biotechnology internship in rural South India.
